Ivan Franco was born in Corvallis, Oregon and raised in Vancouver, Washington. Beginning his video career in senior year high school, Ivan is a creator, director, writer, actor, and soccer player. Graduating from Washington State University, Ivan built skills around camerawork, lighting, editing, writing, storytelling, and acting. Ivan created multiple web series with Student body Cable 8 Productions at WSU. Starting out with grounded shows like Coug chronicles, a local business showcase series, and The Red Tape, a behind the scenes look at the creation of other Cable 8 narrative shows. in 2022, Ivan was offered his own narrative series. writing, directing and acting in his own creation: The Watcher, a four part crime thriller series. The Watcher was awarded Best Fight by Cable 8. In 2023, Ivan and three close friends: Zach Macia, Cooper Curtis, and Jacob ZInda, collaborated together to create The Island. A short film funded by Indiegogo donations. The Island is a psychological thriller based on a teenagers first graveyard shift. The film took several months of planning, set up, and editing. Ivan looks forward to the future and what exciting projects come next.
